Embroidery and needlework, materials, and small-group sessions

Pearltress Needlework hosts embroidery and needlework where Portland stitchers want thread walls, hoop sizing help, and patterns that respect eyesight and patience alike Call +1 503-288-4719 for same-day questions.

Since 2013 open tables run weekly; kit nights include fabric, hoop, and floss with a beginner sampler. Advanced sessions cover goldwork and mending — tools listed per flyer.

Process cards at Pearltress Needlework list steps for embroidery visits in plain English before you commit to a date on pearltress.hair.

We sell floss, linen, and needles — not mass-produced fast-fashion garments with fake hand stitch labels.

Established 2013, the studio keeps embroidery work on 214 NE Killingsworth Street with English-language intake for visitors across United States.

Custom monogram quotes need two weeks; we stitch samples on scrap before touching heirlooms.

Light is daylight-balanced at the main table; magnifiers available for evening sessions.

Workshop cancellations with forty-eight hours notice credit toward the next date — kits are pre-cut once reserved.

Community charity sew days happen quarterly — optional participation, no guilt framing.

We explain table etiquette before you arrive with sharp scissors in your bag.

Same-week bench bookings depend on the Portland board, not guesswork and step-free access questions welcomed ahead of arrival. Country context: United States Prefer email for photos.

Seasonal embroidery queues shift; we still confirm bench bookings in writing with scope confirmed on paper before work starts. Plain English intake — no generator jargon on the ticket.

We keep bench bookings paced so embroidery finishing quality stays steady and favour fewer parallel jobs during busy weeks. City regulars know the door note is current.

Guests booking embroidery work through pearltress get plain intake steps using honest lead times rather than same-day promises when the bench is full. Door updates for pearltress post before opening when hours shift.
